DNLTC Contracting Procedures

The Del Norte Local Transportation Commission regularly contracts with independent consultants and other eligible entities for planning and administrative projects. Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications protocols are governed by the federal, state, and local governments depending on the funding source for the particular project. The DNLTC utilizes the following standard contract and protest procedures when soliciting proposers and entering agreements:

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Objective To provide easy access to public information for regional transportation

planning (DNLTC.org), to increase public awareness on issues of significance through

social media outlets (primarily Facebook), and to enhance the public’s ability to comment

on transportation services and infrastructure needs (https://greendotmaps.com/delnorte-

community-input).

Product The Del Norte Local Transportation Commission is soliciting proposals

from qualified consultants to provide website, crowdsourcing and social media

maintenance services:

  1. Maintain and enhance crowdsourcing: https://greendotmaps.com/del-nortecommunity-input.

  2. Post information and articles on relevant transportation issues to website;

  3. Post Requests for Proposals;

  4. Post agendas and minutes;

  5. Maintain a moderate level of social media presence.


PAST RFPs

Transit Facilities Master Plan

The Del Norte Local Transportation Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare a Transit Facilities Master Plan as part of the region’s effort to reduce carbon emissions through infrastructure and planning projects.

South Beach Climate Resilience Plan

The Del Norte Local Transportation Commission is currently soliciting proposals for South Beach Climate Resilience Plan in partnership with the Crescent City Harbor District, and Elk Valley Rancheria. Please view the RFP below. Proposals are due by December 20 at 5:00 PM.
